Motorcycle crash leaves 24-year-old Wilmington man dead

WILMINGTON, Mass. — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Wilmington that happened late Friday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Troopers responded to Route 93 northbound at Exit 31 for reports of a crash.

Upon their arrival, they located Rodrigo Rosa, 24, of Wilmington who was pronounced dead on the scene after crashing his motorcycle.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to police. The far left and far right lanes of Route 93 North were closed for approximately two hours to accommodate the crash investigation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
