HOLLISTON, Mass. — In a celebrated baseball poem, there is a fictitious place called ‘Mudville, but one Massachusetts town actually has a place called ‘Mudville’ and claims to be the inspiration for that famous baseball verse, “Casey at the Bat.”
Photojournalist Bob Goodale traveled to Holliston and found a special team keeping this bit of baseball lore alive.
