Man facing drunk driving charge after allegedly crashing into New Hampshire state police cruiser

A New Hampshire man has been arrested and will face charges after allegedly crashing into a state police cruiser on Tuesday night.

Around 7:45 p.m., a trooper was yielding on I-93 South at Exit 12N at the end of the off-ramp to merge safely onto Route 3A when a silver 2022 Ford Explorer driven by Richard Talbot, 63, of Concord, failed to stop and struck the rear of the cruiser.

Talbot was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The trooper and Talbot were both not hurt.

Talbot was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 10.
