DANVERS, Mass. — Danvers Police arrested a Lynn man for inappropriately touching a teenage girl at the Liberty Tree Mall Friday evening, Sergeant Steve Baldassare told Boston 25 News.
Edward Duval, 50, of Lynn, has been charged with one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, Baldassare said.
The 17-year-old victim reported the alleged assault to police just after 8 p.m. She said she was with a friend when the man came up from behind her, grabbed onto her buttocks and wouldn’t let go.
Boston 25 News has reached out to Liberty Tree Mall for comment. A spokesperson referred us to Danvers Police, citing the ongoing police investigation.
