BOSTON — A father-daughter trust has claimed a $15 million grand prize on a lottery ticket sold on the Vineyard.
The 2026 Dad and Daughters Trust of Vineyard Haven has claimed the third and final $15 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Millions” instant ticket game, lottery officials said Friday.
The trust, represented by trustee John Kennan Jr., opted to receive its prize as a one-time payment of $9,750,000 before taxes.
The trustee said the winner plans on taking care of their family with the winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at VFW Post 9261, 14 Towanticut St. in Oak Bluffs.
The post receives a $50,000 bonus for the sale of this ticket.
