AMESBURY, Mass. — Authorities are investigating after they say a pedestrian was hit by a car in Amesbury Thursday night.
Officers responding to the area of Whitehall Road and Pamela Lane around 9:30 p.m. found a person lying in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle, according to Amesbury Police.
The victim’s injuries are unknown at this time and it is unclear if the driver stopped on scene.
Police are actively investigating the incident.
