Bostonians were able to keep those jackets on their hooks for another weekend.
Boston reached a temperature high of 76 degrees on Saturday, tying the record for November 12 originally set in 1906.
The city also reached 76 degrees last Sunday, three degrees warmer than the previous records for that date, November 6.
The highest temperature ever recorded in Boston was 83 degrees on November 2, 1950.
Unfortunately, the balmy temperatures will not last until Sunday. According to the Boston 25 meteorology team, the morning will start off with clouds and cooler temperatures in the low 50s. That’s about as warm as it will get for the rest of the day.
