HAMPTON, N.H. — New Hampshire authorities are investigating the body of a man who was pulled from the water near Hampton Beach Wednesday morning.
Officials say the body was discovered at about 7:30 a.m. by a fisherman at the jetty.
State police said the body of the man was dressed in fishing attire and was believed to have been fishing off the Hampton jetty.
No further information was released as marine patrol officers work to discover the person’s identity.
In addition to marine patrol personnel, the U.S. Coast Guard also responded, along with Hampton’s police and fire departments.
