Authorities in New Hampshire to announce ‘major update’ in cold case investigation

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Authorities in New Hampshire are slated to announce a “major update” in a cold case investigation on Thursday afternoon.

Attorney General John M. Formella and Portsmouth Police Chief Mark Newport will deliver new information on an investigation based out of Portsmouth, officials said.

Formella and Newport will speak at a press briefing inside the Portsmouth City Council Chambers at 2:30 p.m.
