EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. — A 33-year-old man was killed in a crash in East Brookfield on Friday night, police said.
The one-car crash occurred on Podunk Road a little after 5:45 p.m.
East Brookfield Police, Fire, and EMS along with the Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash.
Upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old man from Brookfield, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
Two juvenile passengers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The name of the man has not been released.
The road was closed and power was lost in the area for several hours, police said.

The crash remains under investigation by North Brookfield Police and by State Police.
East Brookfield is a small town in Worcester County, located north of Sturbridge and west of Worcester.
