FITCHBURG, Mass. — An 18-year-old man has died following a stabbing in Fitchburg. There have been no arrests.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s office says Gadiel Maria was stabbed just before midnight on Friday.
“It appears he was involved in some type of altercation on Spruce and Salem streets before driving himself to another location,” according to a statement from the district attorney. “Maria was then transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.”
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the State Police Detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office at (508) 832-9124 or Fitchburg Police at (978) 345-9650.
