BROCKTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Family and friends of the late Sergeant Daniel Vasselian held a fundraiser to honor the fallen marine Saturday.
Vasselian was killed in combat in Afghanistan's Hemland province on Dec. 23, 2013. Vasselian's family and friends honored him at CrossFit Boost in Brockton with a "Hero Workout of the Day" on Saturday morning. The workout included running, push-ups, pull-ups and more.
Attendants were asked to donate $10 and proceeds will go to the Sgt. Daniel Vasselian Memorial Fund. Memorial t-shirts were on sale for $15.
