EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. — Police in East Brookfield have released new photos of two vehicles that were captured on surveillance video leaving the scene of a deadly hit-and-run.
Lisa Germain, a local nurse, was hit and killed while trying to cross Route 9 near Dunny’s Tavern on Sunday.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office released photos of a pickup truck and an SUV that were captured by security cameras in the area. Police said the vehicles would have been headed west.
Germain was a neonatal nurse in Framingham, as well as a mother. Earlier this week, her daughter pleaded for the driver responsible for killing her mother to do the right thing and come forward.

“I’d like to tell them to come forward,” Erica Paradis said. “We all need to heal. And they need to heal, too. What they’ve done is wrong and we all need to move together.”
Police said it's been several years since anyone has been hit by a car in the area. They said the area where this deadly hit-and-run occurred was congested, and at the bottom of a hill.
The visibility was also poor that night, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
