'Dis man ugly': Yearbook quotes upset parents, students

HUMBLE, Texas — Some parents in Texas are upset over the quotes allowed to appear in the school yearbook.

The yearbook at Atascocita High School includes a number of senior quotes both parents and students found offensive this year.

The quotes contain references to drugs, alcohol, sex and race.

But one student was heartbroken to see the caption under another student's picture featured next to him in the yearbook.

There's an arrow pointing toward Steven Seal with the caption: "dis man is ugly."

Seal's mother says she’s considering a lawsuit against the school.

Meanwhile, the yearbook's student editor says the book was given to administrators for approval in the fall.

Atascocita’s administration admitted the quotes were not vetted properly before the book went to print.
