WEST ROXBURY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck left one person dead in West Roxbury.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday night on the VFW Parkway.
Donovan J Bartee, 25, of Boston, was killed when he became pinned underneath the truck. The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
Preliminary investigation by Trooper Brian Mahoney indicates the motorcycle was driving outbound when, for reasons still under investigation, collided with a 2011 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck and was pinned underneath.
The Boston Fire Department removed Bartee from under the truck. He was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition and later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
