BPD: Woman allegedly tied up, blindfolded in armed home invasion

BOSTON — Boston Police are trying to identify two suspects in an alleged armed home invasion from last week.

On Friday, Boston Police released surveillance photos of two suspects they say broke into a Dorchester apartment on August 2.

The victim told police on Friday morning, two men broke into her apartment through a rear window. She said the men threatened her with a firearm and knife before tying her up and blindfolding her. She said the men took a number of valuable items from her home before fleeing on bicycles.

Police found surveillance footage of the suspects before the home invasion in the area of Dacia Street and Brookford Street.

One suspect was seen on a bicycle with red pegs and brakes on Brookford Street, down Woodbine Street before disappearing in the area of Warren Street.

The second suspect was seen on a bike with blue handlebars on Brookford Street to Blue Hill Avenue before disappearing in the area of Lawrence Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Boston Police.
