What's up for the Weekend: April 25-27

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Take a look at what's up for the weekend.

The Massachusetts Paranormal Research Group is an all volunteer organization that helps assist people who are experiencing paranormal activity. They try to come up with a solution or explanation for their specific encounter, but these ghost hunters are animal lovers and they are hosting a fundraiser in Franklin to benefit no kill shelters. They put on an expo with all sorts of otherworldly vendors. The event is on Saturday in Franklin.

On Sunday, grab your mats and break out your best tree pose. Listen up yogis, or anyone looking for a good wellness fitness activity. Gillette Stadium is hosting the Yoga Reaches Out New England Yogathon on Sunday afternoon. A $20 donation guarantees you a spot in class, and the money goes to Boston Children's Hospital and Citizen Schools.

Also, there's a beer and comedy fest on Sunday at Laugh Boston over by the seaport, its called Laffenhaus and features beer tasting and sketch comedy.

History buffs, you might have watched this reenactment of the Battle of Lexington on Patriot's Day. Once a year the Lexington Alarm, the letter drafted the morning of April 19, 1775 to alert the colonies that war with the British had begun with the shots fired on the Lexington Green, will be on display. It's been in a private collection for 220 years, and is placed on view once a year at the museum in honor of Patriot's Day. You can see it through Saturday in Lexington.

On Sunday in Worcester, it's the March for Babies by the March of Dimes, family and company teams are all getting together to walk to raise money to help babies and families in their community.

Also Be Styled, the blow out salon, is doing what they call #hairraising at their salons, it's a blow outs event to benefit Boston Children's Hospital.
