BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) - On Wednesday, Oct. 7, Pitbull will join the mounting list of celebrities appearing on “Empire.” The Miami-born rapper will emerge in the third episode of the second season, acting as himself.
According to IMDb, the episode features scenes in which Anika puts on a surprise performance, catching Pitbull's attention and drawing him in to the chaotic world of the Lyon's label.

Here are 19 things you might not have known about Pitbull:
1. He was born Armando Christian Pérez in 1981.
2. His parents are Cuban immigrants.
