BOSTON — May is mental health awareness month and our collective mental health needs are greater than ever.
Whether it’s due to isolation, losing a job, or feeling uncertain about our health and safety, many are struggling with COVID-19 related mental health issues. Boston 25 has joined with NAMI Mass, the state’s leading voice on mental health issues to raise funds for support services for people with mental health conditions.
You can donate or join the virtual event starting at 10 a.m.
All of the funds raised go to NAMI’s free-of-charge support and educational programming for individuals and families. The need for programs like the NAMI Helpline and Peer-To-Peer program are growing, especially now.
