Swastikas found in Northeastern University dorm

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The president of Northeastern University sent a letter out to students after anti-Semitic graffiti was found in a dormitory early Sunday.

A resident assistant found swastikas drawn on a dry-erase board in the common space of the International Village dorm at around 1:30 a.m., according to the email that went out to the Northeastern community.

"I condemn this hateful act of anti-Semitism in the strongest possible terms," President Joseph Aoun wrote. "These actions are completely antithetical to the values of our university and all that we stand for. "

The Northeastern University Police Department collected evidence at the scene and is investigating.
