RANDOLPH, Mass. — A Randolph Middle School student was arrested for allegedly writing a threatening note on a wall.
Randolph Police say they arrested a 12-year-old girl, who will not be identified, for allegedly writing a note threatening violence on the school.
The student was arrested after an investigation Thursday afternoon, and was later released to the custody of her mother.
A message was sent out to parents from the Randolph Public Schools superintendent's office notifying them of the incident.

Police determined the threat was not credible, and the school was dismissed in normal fashion.
