NH AG: Lawmakers admitted to buying marijuana from former State Rep.

CONCORD, N.H. — Several New Hampshire lawmakers have admitted to smoking and buying marijuana from a former State Representative.

Since March, the New Hampshire Attorney General has been investigating allegations that Rep. Kyle Tasker sold marijuana to other people and on Friday the final report was released.

Five state representatives were named as people who had purchased or used marijuana with Tasker before his arrest on solicitation and drug possession charges earlier this year.

Amanda Bouldin told the AG about one time where she smoked marijuana with Tasker in his car when he drove her home. She also told the AG about when she was with Tasker and he smoked marijuana in the State House.

Joseph Lachance was the only representative to make multiple purchased from Lachance according to the AG. During his interview, Lachance told the AG that Tasker was like the "Club Med of weed" and that he had a variety of high end strains. Lachance said he had purchased weed and pot brownies from Tasker to help with his PTSD, but stopped once the state legalized medical marijuana and he got a prescription.

Pamela Tucker told the AG she had purchased marijuana and an elixir containing marijuana to help her sleep and as medication for what she referred to as personal problems.

Ted Wright told the AG he purchased weed from Tasker for his wife, who was fighting breast cancer that had metastasized. Wright said the marijuana helped with the effects of drugs from a clinical trial she was part of at Dana-Farber.

Shem Kellog died earlier this year after what is described as a brief battle with cancer.

The Attorney General said all of the representatives they questioned believed Tasker was selling marijuana to those in need of medical assistance but unable to legally buy the drug in New Hampshire.
