Manchester man charged in connection to daughter's death

CONCORD, NH — A 22-year-old Manchester man is charged with the murder of his 3-year-old daughter nearly a year after her death.

The Union Leader reports that police took Jocarl Buearu into custody late Friday night. He's charged with reckless second-degree injury leading to a child's death.

The 3-year-old, Jayleah Bureau, was found unconscious in Concord last March and later pronounced dead.

Court papers show the father is accused of choking, striking and threatening the child's mother, Loreal Williams, with a gun, according to NH1.com.

Bureau's arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
