‘I have candy and puppies’: Man sought after allegedly enticing 2 minors at MBTA station, police say

QUINCY, Mass. — Police are searching for a suspect accused of trying to lure two young girls on an MBTA platform on Sunday night.

Transit Police say they responded to the North Quincy MBTA Station around 6 p.m. where an 11 and 12-year-old girl claimed a man yelled out to them, urging them to “come here.” The girls ignored the man but he continued moving closer, even telling them, “I have candy and puppies,” according to officials.

The girls were frightened by this and quickly fled the area. The man did not follow them.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the person pictured to contact police.
