Newton Police locate once-missing 32-year-old man

NEWTON, Mass. — Police in Newton have located a once-missing 32-year-old man who was last seen Friday, July 9 when he was discharged from Newton Wellesley Hospital. That man has been identified as David Gurevich by police, who said he also goes by the name ‘Gima.’

Gurevich originally did not return home after being discharged from the hospital Friday. Officials said he is 6-foot tall with a thin build. He is balding on top with long brown hair on the sides, a brown beard and blue eyes. He had last been seen wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on Gurevich’s whereabouts was asked to call 617-796-2100.
