Boston 25 and our parent company, Cox Media Group, have now joined forces with a coalition of local and national journalists and media companies to try to get answers regarding last month’s mass shooting inside a Texas elementary school.
Earlier Tuesday the media coalition sent a letter to the mayor of Uvalde, Texas offering support for the people of his city in their search for answers.
Numerous records requests from journalists in Texas and across the nation have gone unanswered. The letter urges the mayor to help ensure that all the facts about this incident come to light.
Our station and our company joined the coalition because we believe you deserve a more comprehensive portrait of the events on that day, which took the lives of 19 children and two teachers at Robb elementary school.
