BOSTON — The Boston Athletic Association confirmed Monday afternoon that it will stand with the Ukrainian people.
B.A.A. announced that will provide all Ukrainians who have registered for the 126th Boston Marathon or the 2022 B.A.A. 5K a full refund or other options.
The @BAA will provide all Ukrainians who are registered in the 126th Boston Marathon (43 athletes) or the 2022 B.A.A. 5K (5 athletes) with a refund or option to defer to a future year. We will reach out to these athletes directly. Running is a global sport & we #StandWithUkraine

The B.A.A. confirmed there are 43 Ukrainian athletes registered for the 126th Boston Marathon and five Ukrainian athletes registered for the 2022 B.A.A. 5K.
It’s offering a full refund or an option to defer their registration to a future year.
