NORWOOD, Mass. — Some potential temporary relief for your recent gas pains.
Local businessman Ernie Boch, Jr. says he will be giving away 7,000 of free gas to drivers in Norwood tomorrow.
Boch says the 12 pumps at the ROJO Irving gas station on Route 1 will open for free gas starting at 7:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
We’re told drivers will be able to top off their tanks, no matter how low they may be.
The ROJO Irving gas station is located at 69 Providence Highway in Norwood.
The current price for gas at that station is $4.25 per gallon for credit card purchases, so the gas giveaway is worth about $30,000.
