Truro — The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries along with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy has tagged its first white shark off the season.

The 11-foot shark was tagged 1/4 mile off the coast of Truro on Monday.

There were several shark sightings off the Cape earlier this month. On July 5, two previously tagged sharks were spotted.
