BPD investigating report of pedestrian hit by vehicle in Dorchester

BOSTON — Boston Police blocked off a portion of Washington Street after a report of a person hit by a car off Monday afternoon.

The scene covered a block of Washington Street off Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester, where police would only say there was a report of a pedestrian Struck.

Sky 25 was over the scene shortly after the report came in, where one BPD cruiser was blocking traffic along the street and a garbage truck was stopped halfway into a driveway.
