3-year-old girl crushed, killed by car her dad was working on

ACUSHNET, Mass. — A 3-year-old child died Tuesday morning after being crushed by a car her father was working on.

Police said it happened at 11:43 a.m. on Jean Street.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene and her father was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Police called the incident “tragic” and said their investigation is on-going.
