Bob Odenkirk got a 'Better Call Saul' 'tattoo' on his butt to show his dedication

BEVERLY HILLS, California – Bob Odenkirk will do anything to promote the fourth season of "Better Call Saul." And that includes showing his bare behind to a room full of reporters.

At the summer Television Critics Association press tour Saturday, the actor made a surprise appearance to promote the new season of his AMC show (Aug. 6, 9 EDT/PDT). At first, Odenkirk simply talked up the show, as you might expect a proud actor to do. But then things got a little racy.

"I wanted to show you guys something," Odenkirk told the assembled reporters. "This is exciting for me. I’m sorry. I got a tattoo."

The actor then proceeded to drop his pants just enough to show what appeared to be a temporary tattoo on this butt cheek emblazoned with the "Saul" premiere date, encircled by a heart.

"It’s so great because I – all my life, I’m trying to think, like, what do I care about enough to get it, like, eternally marked on my (behind),"  he said. "And so, I finally had something."

"Yeah, that’s right," he continued. "I’m a real company man, and I was just thinking, I want everyone to know it’s coming back. It was such a long wait. Where can I put the information that a lot of people will see it? So, there you go."

AMC chief Charlie Collier also told Odenkirk "Saul" had been picked up for a fifth season.

"Okay, wow," Odenkirk said. "So, do I have to get a Sseason 5 tattoo?"
