Attention DISH customers:
Call 1-800-333-3474 and demand that they bring back Boston 25

The agreement between Boston 25 and DISH expired on Monday, November 28, 2022 and you will no longer be able to access critical local news, emergency weather and traffic information, popular sports and other local and national network programming. Local news is more important today than ever. Call DISH at 1-800-333-3474 and demand that DISH bring back Boston 25.

Is there anything the public can do to help make sure that Boston 25 is back on DISH?

The best way for you to encourage a resolution is to register your support of how important it is for them to carry Boston 25 by calling DISH at 800-333-3474. You pay DISH a lot of money. They will listen to your voices.

You can also view Boston 25 Over the Air with an over the air antenna available at retail. Or you can contact and easily switch to any number of other providers that are committed to providing you with all the programming you watch every day:

DIRECTV:1-888-777-2454 or www.directv.com

Comcast: 1-800-934-6489 or www.comcast.com

Charter/Spectrum Cable: 1-833-694-9256 or 1-855-243-8892 or http://www.spectrum.com

Verizon FiOS: 1-800-837-4966 or https://www.verizon.com/home/fios/

Hulu: https://www.hulu.com/live-news

YouTube TV: https://tv.youtube.com/

Fubo TV: https://fubto.tv/

Regardless, we will continue to work hard to try and get a successful outcome to this negotiation so that you regain live access to your favorite programming, but the ball remains in DISH’s court to step-up like its competitors and peers have done.
Boston 25 has been removed from DISH Network after DISH refused to agree to a fair deal for a new agreement with Cox Media Group.

If you are affected by DISH’s decision to deprive you of important local news, sports and programming, make your voice heard! Call DISH today at 1-800-333-3474 and demand that they get Boston 25 back on DISH immediately.

Despite our efforts to negotiate in good faith, DISH still refuses to do a fair deal and has now blacked out CMG stations, including Boston 25.

They go dark only if DISH so chooses. CMG is hopeful that DISH will abandon its well-worn path of blacking out TV stations to the detriment of consumers in favor of meaningful negotiations toward a fair deal.

It’s never been more important that our viewers know their trusted local stations are there for them, providing the news and information they need to make decisions for their families. CMG stations take pride in being leading resources for our communities, and we will fight to continue to fulfill this responsibility.

Boston 25 programming remains available for viewers to access over the air and all other cable and satellite providers, and this dispute will not affect the vast majority of viewers. Boston 25 has reached agreements with virtually every other major cable and satellite distributor. This is simply DISH doing the same old tactic of dropping valuable stations.
