MILTON, Mass. — A Massachusetts State Trooper is recovering at Boston Medical Center after he was injured in a state police cruiser crash on the expressway early Wednesday morning.
State Police tell Boston 25 News the trooper was assisting another trooper with stopping a wrong-way driver. The driver was arrested for OUI.
While walking that driver back to the other trooper's cruiser, a second driver hit the parked trooper's vehicle, pushing it into the trooper.
He was brought to Boston Medical Center with a lower body injury, but is expected to be okay.
The driver that hit the cruiser was also brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
