BEVERLY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - Authorities say a woman has been struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Beverly.
MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo says the woman was trespassing on the tracks in a wooded area between the Prides Crossing and Montserrat stations at about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday when she was struck.
The inbound train to North Station was coming from Rockport.
The 9:10 a.m. train from Rockport had been canceled. Passengers were being bused between Beverly and Boston.

- Beverly Farms
- Manchester
- West Gloucester
- Gloucester
- Rockport
