Man pulled from New Hampshire lake in apparent drowning

HILLSBOROUGH, N.H. — A man passed away following an apparent drowning at a New Hampshire lake Monday morning.

State Police say a resident called 911 around 11:22 a.m. after finding a man’s body floating along the shoreline near the caller’s house.

Alan Morrison, 76, of Hollis, New Hampshire, was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water.

New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol, New Hampshire State Police Troop B, Hillsborough Police, and Fire Departments, and the Hollis Police Department all responded to the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
