BOSTON — One of two officers shot in East Boston last month will go home for Thanksgiving, according to the Boston Police Department.
Office Matt Morris was released from rehab Monday, according to tweets from Boston police.
Officer Morris and Officer Richard Cintolo were shot in a gun battle with a man in East Boston late Wednesday night, Oct. 12.
“So happy Matt’s been released from @SpauldingRehab. Timing couldn’t have been better. Extra reason to be thankful,” Police Commissioner Bill Evans said in a tweet.
