WORCESTER, Mass. — A Worcester man pleaded not guilty Friday to murder charge in connection with the death of 30-year-old Joanna Brown
Browns body was found inside her SUV days after she was reported missing after Halloween last year.
Prosecutors allege that between October. 31 and November. 1, 2025, Donovan Foster assaulted and beat Brown with the intent to murder her.
Brown’s family reported her missing on November. 2, 2025. She had last been seen on Halloween after leaving work early from the Bean Counter bakery on Grove Street, where she worked.
Brown left work early on Friday and did not show up for her shift the following day, according to her manager.
Her body was discovered dead in her gray Mitsubishi Outlander in the parking lot of Green Hill Towers at 27 Mount Vernon Street around 4 p.m. on November 3.
A judge ordered that Foster be held without bail, and his next court hearing is scheduled for September 11.
