BOSTON — A 4-year-old boy has died after being found unconscious Saturday morning in his home, according to Boston police.
Neighbors described a frantic scene on Blue Hill Avenue as the boy’s mother was screaming when EMS rushed him out of the home with blood on his nose.
A spokesperson for BPD said the boy was taken to Children's Hospital by EMS shortly after they were called at 8:20 a.m.
One neighbor told FOX25 the mother had taken the boy to the hospital Friday with a fever, but she returned home with the boy around noon.
Police and EMS responded to the call Saturday morning, when the boy was reported unconscious.
