Police: NH man arrested for heroin, cocaine after letting 11-year-old drive

MANCHESTER, N.H. — An 11-year-old driver got a Manchester man arrested on drug charges, according to police in New Hampshire.

Enrique Moreno, 37, was letting his girlfriend’s child drive his car, as Moreno sat in the passenger seat and the child’s 3-year-old brother sat in the back seat, according to police.

Police say Moreno’s car was pulled over near Blucher Street and Moreno got out of the car and tried to talk to the officer as he approached.

The officer said when he realized the child was only 11, he arrested Moreno, who was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, heroin and cocaine.

The children’s mother was called to the scene to pick them up.
