Car crashes through New England Meat Market in Peabody

PEABODY, Mass. — A car went through the New England Meat Market in Peabody on Saturday morning.

Photos from the scene show the car completely inside the store.

“We were just working back there and all of a sudden, I heard this big bang,” the owner said.

“I came out of the meat cutting room and I see this car halfway into my store.”

The owner said officials took the elderly driver out of the car who to the hospital. She allegedly hit another car before going through the market.

He said she seemed to be doing okay.
