Body found along shoreline in Manchester, Mass.

A St. Louis police officer is accused of driving a van too roughly to punish two prisoners, court documents claim.

MANCHESTER, Mass. — Emergency responders in Manchester, Mass. were alerted to an unresponsive person on the sand near Manchester Yacht Club on Saturday morning. Officials declared the victim dead at the scene shortly after arrival.

The body was found along the shore of Tucks Point at Manchester Harbor. A paddle boarder initially alerted law enforcement to the scene at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday.

Manchester Police are investigating the matter along with the Massachusetts State Police.

Officials say that, currently, there is no indication of foul play or any public safety concerns.
