RAIN ALL DAY

You’ll need the rain gear all day long. Showers will be heaviest in southernmost New England with the potential for upwards of 2″ rainfall in parts of southeastern MA, RI, and CT. Both Boston and Worcester will see between 0.5″-1″ rainfall today. Totals north of the Mass Pike totals will range from roughly 0.25-0.5″. Showers will turn more scattered in the afternoon and eventually taper off this evening as low pressure pulls away. It will be cool today too with temperatures in the 50s all day in most towns.

TRENDING DRY

Friday’s forecast looks decent as dry air moves over the region. Expect partial sun with low 70s inland and 60s at the coast.

An east to northeast wind will the forecast a tad cool this weekend. Coastal locations will feel a little chilly Saturday with highs only in the upper 50s to lower 60s under cloudy skies. Inland spots will make it to the mid and upper 60s. Sunday will shape up a bit warmer with more breaks of sun.

Dry and pleasant weather will last through the first part of next week as highs soar into the 70s.
