ANOTHER COOLER DAY

It’s a chilly start this morning, but the wind is much lighter compared to recent days. Sunshine will dominate, though temperatures stay on the cooler side with highs reaching the low 30s this afternoon.

WARMING NEXT FEW DAYS

Wednesday starts off cold, but a noticeable warmup develops by afternoon. Highs climb into the mid-40s, putting us close to seasonal normals under dry conditions.

The warming trend continues Thursday as temperatures push near 50 degrees. Skies stay mainly dry, making it one of the more comfortable days of the week.

ALERT DAY FRIDAY

Friday delivers a taste of spring with highs in the 50s, but it comes with weather concerns. A strong front brings periods of rain, with totals ranging from 1/2″ to 1″ across the area. Gusty winds may reach up to 50 mph, so be sure to secure loose outdoor items, including holiday decorations.

Behind the front, colder air moves back in for Saturday. Temperatures trend below normal once again, bringing back a more winter-like feel to end the week.
