Stoughton woman accused in hit and run due in court

BOSTON — A woman accused of hitting a Stoughton man with her car and fleeing from the scene is due in court.

Police say Marlene Perdigao was driving near Washington Street and School Street last month when she hit a man in a crosswalk.

Michael Conrad, a 40-year-old Stoughton man was taken to a Boston hospital with serious injuries to his head and back. He was later released.

Police tracked down Perdigao's car to her home in Stoughton after finding a side mirror in the road.

Perdigao denies hitting the man.
