Two people injured in Lagrange Street shooting incident in West Roxbury

Two people were injured in a shooting incident in West Roxbury on Monday, police say.

Police responded to the incident on Lagrange Street around 9:50 p.m. late Monday night.

Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief William Gross said one person was shot in the upper body, and police say the injuries initially appeared to be life-threatening. Shortly after, the shooting victim's injuries were upgraded and deemed to no longer be life-threatening.

One person injured was a man in his early 30s, and the other's age has yet to be determined.

Another person was also found injured nearby, and was rushed to the hospital with "unknown injuries."

Police want citizens to be on the lookout for a white Honda Accord that allegedly fled the scene as they investigate the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking for help in finding any information or witnesses to the situation.
