The rain in Massachusetts is already impacting drivers, as parts on both sides of Storrow Drive are closed due to flooding.
Massachusetts State Police confirmed that the downpours in Boston and Cambridge caused flooding in area, forcing issues for anyone on the roads.
The flooding impacted areas between the Hatch Shell and Boston University, Memorial Drive at Massachusetts Avenue and the Longfellow Bridge.
