LEOMINSTER, Mass. — One man is dead after a crash on I-190 in Leominster.
According to state police, around 5:15 a.m., officers responded to a two-car crash on I-190 Southbound in Leominster.
One of the drivers, a 55-year-old man from Fitchburg, was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.
The other driver was transported to an area hospital.
The roadway was closed for a time to allow investigators to document the scene, but reopened shortly after 7:30 am.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
