BOSTON — All athletic activities are on pause for the Boston University men’s ice hockey team due to a positive COVID-19 test, according to a release from Boston University Athletics.

The team’s upcoming game against University of Connecticut scheduled for December 5, 2020 has also been canceled.

Ths positive test came from a member of the team’s Tier 1 personnel which includes student-athletes, coaches, managers and support staff.
The personnel identified as Tier 1 are tested three times a week ina ccordance with NCAA, Hockey East and Boston University protocols.
