EVERETT, Mass. — Firefighters responded to the new Encore Boston casino in Everett for a report of an unknown odor in the building, the casino has confirmed.

Emergency crews used gas meters to test the air in various places inside the casino, but nothing out of the ordinary was detected, according to the casino.
Encore Boston opened last month.
